the island is a collaboration of s.howe and mike watt.
s.howe is a 45 year old janitor living in montreal. he has developed musically since late adolescence under manifold titles (swenson clane, renoohcs, wette cigaret, the extract), disseminating miscellanea the world over, from chapbook to sound artifact, in the true spirit of tactile representation.
mike watt is an unremitting progenitor of sonar and latitude, thud-staff fundament from reactionary to stooge, and the vertiginous outturn in between.
