ARTISTS ~ FRANKENBERRIES
Frankenberries makes quick, edgy, raw melodies with speedy surf. Formed end 2012, they hit the stages in April 2013, their self-made demo quickly selling out. They have been busy every month
since: independently touring, recording and releasing for labels and platforms such as Geertruida and Dutch Garage Rock Explosion, playing festivals and radio shows, and releasing a videoclip for
Converse Rubber Tracks. They have been compared to bands such as Cramps, Thee Oh Sees, and B52s. "Crunchy", "Nonchalant", "Scuzzy", "1,2,3 go" and "dual affinities for brute punk-rock and
bedraggled shoegaze", are some of the phrases used by the press.
Their members are also active in other Dutch noise, punk, post-punk, and garage punk bands, and their experience is clear in their delivery and live energy.
