Ayman Maas started in a student apartment building in de Bijlmer, where Joey van der Kaaij and his neighbour Nuno Monteiro began experimenting recording together in a bedroom studio.
That collaboration has transformed into Ayman Maas with Joey writing songs and Nuno selecting/compiling the albums.
